Founder
Lucinda Herrera
More than two decades ago, Lucinda, a native of Mexico City, set out on a path that fuses art and design. From childhood she showed a deep passion for painting and art, refining her skills in disciplines such as painting, printmaking and photography. Her talent led her to exhibit in notable venues such as the Mexican Red Cross and the LMI gallery (Laboratorio Mexicano de Imágenes).
Her ingenuity and artistic vision drove her to create a unique technique that integrates wood and paint, transforming furniture into one-of-a-kind pieces. That is how Entre Maderas y Arte was born: a store where design, art and decoration come together in harmony.
Always innovative and true to her cheerful, original personality, Lucinda decided to extend her vision to funeral pieces, applying her distinctive style to caskets and funeral urns. Her work challenges convention, offering pieces full of meaning and beauty even in life's most profound moments.
With creativity as her driving force, Lucinda keeps surprising us. And while the future is uncertain, one thing is sure: her art will continue to leave its mark.
