About the artist:
Raymundo González, born in 1950 in Veracruz, Mexico, trained at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he drew inspiration from his country's rich Indigenous and European culture. His work fuses these elements, creating vibrant images that celebrate the complexity of contemporary Mexico. Through magical realism, his paintings reflect a unique blend of the real and the fantastic, a style that places him among the great artists of the Mexican tradition.
